Jazz for the Winter, Bossa Nova for the Summer


A touch of Vintage to begin
I didn't find any better way to start this blog than this: Music
From all my passions music is THE one I can't live without and this title totally reflects what's going on on my Ipod during the year : Jazz for the Winter,  Bossa Nova for the Summer
But can I have the best of the two worlds now?
This song was first composed by Antonio Carlos Jobim as "Chega de Saudade" for Elisete Cardozo but only hit the stars in 1958 with  João Gilberto. This is often considered the first Bossa Nova song here performed by the American Jazz Singer Carmen Mcrae. Priceless...
